VACCINATIONS AND TESTING
LSU Athletics and Our Lady of the Lake will host a pop-up vaccination event on Thursday, September 2 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center from 4 to 8 p.m.
Vaccinations are free and available to anyone 12 and older.
LSU Athletics and Our Lady of the Lake will also provide gameday vaccinations on Saturday, September 11 before the Tigers’ home opener against McNeese State. Details on gameday vaccinations will be released to the public when finalized.
Limited COVID-19 PCR testing will be available on gameday for fans who preregister. The link for preregistration for gameday testing will be available at noon on Wednesday, September 1 at LSUSports.net and distributed across LSU Athletics’ platforms.
Gameday testing will cost $35 and run from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on September 11 at the PMAC.
Test results will be provided via text and email and available approximately 45 minutes after completion. Fans can leave the PMAC immediately after testing and await their results elsewhere.
In order to expedite entry into Tiger Stadium, LSU Athletics will offer preverification services to guests on game day. This will allow gameday staff to verify proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test before guests arrive at the stadium gates.
Preverification will be offered at multiple stations around Tiger Stadium, as well as through roaming mobile teams who will offer preverification services to guests across campus throughout gameday.
Fans who get preverified will receive wristbands at the point of verification. These wristbands will allow access to designated entrance lanes upon arrival to Tiger Stadium, similar to a fast pass at an amusement park.
For those gameday guests who are in the 90-day window after contracting COVID-19, LSU Athletics will offer limited gameday prescreening at the PMAC on Sept. 11. from 12:30 to 6 p.m.
To qualify for prescreening, guests must:
- Have no COVID-19 symptoms
- Be 10 days past previous COVID-19 infection
- Within 90 days of previous COVID-19 infection
- Provide laboratory results for medical staff at PMAC to assess
Guests who meet these criteria and are approved by medical staff will be granted access to Tiger Stadium. There will be no cost for prescreening, and no preregistration is required.
