LSU Soccer Stadium Procedures & Guidelines

Baton Rouge, La. – LSU Athletics announced plans for accommodating fans to LSU Soccer Stadium this fall for home matches. Fans will be required to wear face masks in order to attend matches, tailgating will be prohibited and physical distancing will be mandatory.

Attendance for all home matches will allow entry for up to 450 fans, which is 25% capacity at LSU Soccer Stadium. The main gate on the west side of the stadium will be used for entry into the venue, and that gate will open one hour prior to first kick. Ample parking will be available for use at LSU Soccer Stadium.

The LSU Soccer Stadium will be marked off in sections by colored tape that will allow for distanced seating for groups of two, four, six, eight, and 12. The concession stand and merchandise stand will be open, and all transactions will be cashless at those stands. Fans will be allowed to bring one 32 ounce or smaller factory sealed bottle of water into LSU Soccer Stadium at each home match. The concession stand will offer a more basic menu with only pre-packaged items available for purchase.

LSU has completed a top-to-bottom deep cleaning and sanitation of LSU Soccer Stadium. Restrooms will be regularly disinfected, and additional staff will be on site dedicated solely to cleaning and disinfecting. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be located at the venue for fans to utilize.

Physical distancing will be enforced at the gate, the concession stand, restrooms, and the merchandise stand. Fans who might be sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should stay at home and contact a physician. LSU remains committed to providing a safe atmosphere for student-athletes, staff, and fans.
