BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU’s Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) has kicked off a fundraising challenge against Texas A&M’s 12th Man Foundation.
The face-off, called the Thanksgiving Challenge, is a collaboration between TAF and the 12th Man Foundation to raise funds for their respective athletic departments leading up to the on field match up Saturday.
The Thanksgiving Challenge, will continue until 11:59 p.m. on Saturday. The team with the most donors will win the challenge. Fans are encouraged to make a gift of any size to help beat the Aggies off the field.
“TAF donors play a vital role in supporting LSU student-athletes. We are excited to engage Tiger fans around the country in the Thanksgiving Challenge. We need your support to beat the Aggies on and off the field,” said Rick Perry, TAF President and CEO.
Donations made through the Thanksgiving Challenge will benefit TAF’s Team TAF Annual Fund. The annual fund supports all 21 varsity sports of LSU Athletics, ensuring that LSU student-athletes have the tools to succeed in the classroom, on the field, and in life.
