ORLANDO, Florida – ESPN announced late Thursday night that Friday’s semifinal matchup in the AdvoCare Invitational between No. 19/21 LSU (5-0) and No. 14/13 Florida State (4-0) will be televised by ESPN2 beginning at 4:30 p.m. EST (3:30 p.m. Baton Rouge time).
Karl Ravech and Dalen Cuff will have the call in the third game of the second day of the event at the HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Disney World.
Patrick Wright and former LSU Coach John Brady will have the call on the affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network, including flagship Eagle 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge.
The Tigers scored a good 67-55 win over College of Charleston in the opener on Thanksgiving evening with Skylar Mays getting 14 points, Emmitt Williams 12 and Tremont Waters dishing out a career equaling high of 11 assists. LSU held Charleston to just 34 percent shooting while hitting almost 52 percent of its shots.
Florida State defeated UAB, 81-63, in the nightcap Thursday. Terrance Mann had 17 points, while Trent Forrest had 11 rebounds.
