This Week on LSU Tiger Tracks

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television. Replays of the show will air at 1 p.m. CT Thursday and 2 p.m. CT Saturday.

The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.

LSU Tiger Tracks opens with a football preview by correspondent Garrett Walvoord of Saturday’s LSU-Florida game in Gainesville, Fla. The contest will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT, and it will be televised by CBS.

The show continues with a report on the 60th anniversary reunion of LSU’s 1958 football national championship team, followed by a highlights review of the Tigers’ dominating win over Ole Miss last Saturday in Tiger Stadium.

LSU Tiger Tracks concludes with a feature entitled “The Physics of a Field Goal,” as LSU physics professor David Young explains the mechanics of a successful kick.
