BATON ROUGE – It will be “Championship Sunday” in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center when No. 3 LSU takes on No. 15 Auburn with the Southeastern Conference regular season championship on the line.
Fans are encouraged to wear their “Championship Gold” on Sunday afternoon. LSU will go after its second straight outright SEC title in front of what is expected to be another sold out PMAC. LSU officials remind fans to purchase tickets ahead of time, Arrive early and Geaux Clear.
Post-Meet Autographs
Following the meet on Sunday, the LSU gymnasts and head coach D-D Breaux will hold an autograph session on the concourse of the Maravich Center. There will be posters as well as trading cards for fans to get autographs.
Buy Tickets Before Meet Day
Fans who have not purchased tickets yet are encouraged to buy ahead of time to guarantee a spot for Sunday’s meet. Tickets for the meet are available at www.LSUTIX.net or by calling the LSU Ticket Office at (225)578-2184 or toll-free at (800)960-8587.
Student Promotions
Doors for LSU students open at 12:45 p.m. Sunday. LSU students are admitted for free with a valid student ID. Students who enter the PMAC between 12:45-1:30 p.m. will receive free jambalaya with a purchase of a drink.
Arrive Early
With other events on campus, fans are encouraged to arrive early. Doors for non-student entrances will open at 1 p.m.
Geaux Clear
Fans are reminded that LSU’s Geaux Clear policy is in effect for all sports. The following bags are permitted inside LSU Athletic venues: clear 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller bags, clear 1-gallon freezer bags & clear or non-clear 4.5” x 6.5” (approximately the size of a person’s hand) wallets/wristlets/clutches. Change – Diaper Bags
Those bringing supplies for infants/toddlers must adhere to the clear bag policy. Diaper bags must be clear and no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Backpacks, including drawstring/synch bags, are strictly prohibited – regardless of size and if clear or non-clear.
Additional Concessions
LSU has added concession food trucks/trailers to the Upper NW and Upper W concourse areas. The food truck/trailers are located just outside the entry doors and are only accessible from inside the arena.
North Stadium Drive Closed to Vehicle Traffic
The section of North Stadium Drive from West Stadium Drive to Fieldhouse Drive will be closed at 12:30 p.m. Only those with Lot 201 or Lot 300 parking permits will have vehicular access to North Stadium Drive. Lot 101 will still be accessible for free parking for all patrons. All other parking lots on campus will remain free and open to the public.
ADA Parking – Lot 300
In an effort to relocate ADA parking closer to the PMAC, Lot 300 will now serve as the ADA parking lot. Patrons must have a state issued handicap license plate or placard for access to this parking area. Patrons must enter the lot from N. Stadium Dr. As a result of the change, the special assistance shuttle is no longer offered.
Guest Service Kiosk – Concourse Portal F
A guest service kiosk has been added to the concourse near Portal F. The kiosk will be staffed with guest service representatives, who are available to answer questions and address issues, throughout the game. The kiosk will also be equipped with fan amenities: posters, schedule cards, game programs, a phone charging station, etc.
Guest Service Hotline (225-578-4085)
A guest services hotline has been created to better assist fans with questions before, during and after LSU Athletics competitions and events. The hotline will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and also surrounding LSU Athletics events. Guest services representatives are happy to assist fans with all questions/issues or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
