NCAA Regional G4: McNeese def. Fairfield, 6-2

BATON ROUGE– The McNeese Cowgirls plated six runs between the third and the fourth inning to defeat the Fairfield Stags, 6-2, in the first elimination game of the Baton Rouge Regional Saturday night at Tiger Park. 

LSU and McNeese will square off in the second elimination contest of the weekend Sunday at 1:30 p.m. CT at Tiger Park. 

The winner will face UL-Lafayette in Game 5 at 4 p.m. CT. If necessary, the Game 7 will take place Monday at a time to be determined.
