BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri will host a luncheon open to the general public at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at the L’Auberge Hotel and Casino on River Road in Baton Rouge. The luncheon is presented by Hub International.
The luncheon will be held at the Bon Temps Buffet located on the main floor at L’Auberge, and the all-you-can-eat buffet is $14.95 per person. The buffet is available beginning at 11:30 a.m., and the program will begin at 12:10 p.m.
Mainieri will discuss the Tigers’ 2017 season and look ahead to LSU’s SEC home series against South Carolina. He will be joined on Tuesday by guest speaker Doug Thompson, LSU’s winning pitcher in the 1997 College World Series Championship Game. Thompson and his teammates are celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the 1997 team during next weekend’s series versus South Carolina.
