BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 8 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television. A replay of the show will air at 5 p.m. CT Thursday.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
LSU Tiger Tracks begins with a visit to the studio from baseball coach Paul Mainieri, who discusses preseason practice and the opening of the 2017 season. The second-ranked Tigers play host to Air Force at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 17, in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
The show continues with a report by correspondent Garrett Walvoord on the baseball team’s Media Day activities that were held last Friday prior to the Tigers’ first practice session.
LSU Tiger Tracks also includes a story by Walvoord on the history of LSU’s football recruiting process dating back to the 1950s, when coach Paul Dietzel recruited Tiger greats like Billy Cannon and Johnny Robinson.
