In the sixth of a series getting to know the LSU softball freshman class, we learn a little bit more about Maribeth Gorsuch
1. Why did you choose LSU?
I chose LSU because how beautiful the campus was and how coach Beth and her staff made it seem like home away from home. The fans here are so amazing and supportive. Tiger Park was absolutely amazing, and I really couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
2. What do you like most about LSU?
What I like most about LSU is how great the coaching staff for the LSU softball team is. I love the how supportive the academic staff is here at LSU. My teammates are another big part of why I love LSU so much. I can count on each of my teammates to be there for me whenever I need them.
3. What is your favorite part about being an athlete at LSU/on the LSU Softball team?
My favorite part about being an athlete at LSU is receiving so much support and having fans across the nation. I love how LSU supplies us with fueling station so we’re always fueled for practice and workouts. The workout facilities are great.
4. What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?
My favorite hobbies are hanging out with my teammates and shopping.
5. What does “ALL for LSU” mean to you?
“ALL for LSU” means putting your personal preferences to the side and giving your all for LSU. You support all of the other sports. It isn’t just one persons. It is everyone. The support is huge here.
