TULSA, Okla.— Senior doubles pair Jordan Daigle and Justin Butsch fell to 43rd-ranked Ohio State’s Martin Joyce and Hugo Di Feo in the ITA Men’s All-American Championships consolation doubles round of 16 Friday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The No. 28 duo fell in the tiebreaker, 6-3, 4-6, 0-1 (11), to conclude their run and finish the tournament with an overall record of 3-2.

“Jordan and Justin had a chance to use the moment from the first set, but unfortunately, it did not go that way for them,” head coach Jeff Brown said. “It’s time for us to get back and get ready to compete next weekend.”

The men’s tennis team returns to action Friday, Oct. 14 at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn, Alabama, for the ITA Southern Regional.
