TULSA, Okla.— Senior doubles pair Jordan Daigle and Justin Butsch collected a win in the ITA Men’s All American Tournament doubles qualifying round of 16 against the No. 51 duo of Jordi Arconada and AJ Cantanzariti from Texas A&M Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The No. 28 duo battled out a straight-set, 7-6(5), 7-6(3), win to advance to Thursday’s main draw.

“The doubles competition was very high level today in spite of high winds,” head coach Jeff Brown said. “Justin carried over his confidence from his morning singles, and Jordan played solidly the entire match.”

Earlier in the day, Butsch competed in the qualifying singles consolation where he took a 7-6(6), 6-1 win against Jamie Barajas of Utah State.

Junior Gabor Csonka also competed in the qualifying singles consolation where he fell to Constatin Schmitz of Tulane, 6-4, 6-0.

No. 35 Daigle will also compete in the singles main draw beginning Thursday.
