BATON ROUGE – A program-record 10 LSU gymnastics meets will be broadcast live during the 2017 season, ESPN and the Southeastern Conference office announced Wednesday.
Six of LSU’s meets this season will be televised live on the SEC Network with the remaining four streamed live on www.WatchESPN.com.
Two of the program’s home meets against conference opponents will air live on the SEC Network beginning with the season opener on Jan. 6 against Georgia at 6 p.m. CT. The slate of televised home meets concludes with the matchup against Florida on Sunday, March 5 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The remaining four home meets will be live through SEC Network+, a digital-only platform accessed through WatchESPN.com. Home meets against Texas Woman’s on Jan. 20, against Missouri on Feb. 3, and the home finale against New Hampshire on March 10 will all begin at 7:30 p.m. CT.
Three of LSU’s road meets will be televised live on the SEC Network. Meets at Alabama on Jan. 13, at Arkansas on Feb. 10, and at Auburn on Feb. 24 will all begin at 7:30 p.m. CT.
For the second-straight year, the SEC Championship will be carried live. ESPNU and the SEC Network will carry the championship event.
In addition to the meets throughout the 2017 season, GYM 101 will also be available through SEC Network+. The year’s event will take place Monday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. CT inside the Maravich Center.
