PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — The LSU women’s tennis team will travel to the Riviera Tennis Club to take part in the Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships Oct. 1-9.
Junior Ryann Foster and senior Abby Owens will participate in the singles pre-qualifying round on Saturday while sophomore Jessica Golovin will begin her campaign in the singles qualifying round beginning Tuesday, Oct. 4. Senior Joana Valle Costa will be part of the singles main draw beginning Thursday, Oct. 6.
Foster will take on University of Denver’s Bianca Mok Saturday at 12:30 CT while No. 107 Abby Owens will face No. 88 Madison Westby of USC, who is ranked as the fifth seed in the tournament, also at 12:30.
The pairing of Foster and Owens will also represent LSU in doubles pre-qualifying Saturday at 11:00 CT against Katarina Stresnakova and Lena Ruppert of Oklahoma State.
