Parking Update for Games at Alex Box Stadium

BATON ROUGE, La. — Due to excessive rainfall, several general public parking areas have been impacted for this weekend’s baseball series at Alex Box Stadium. Fans attending the LSU-Ball State baseball games should note the following:

Public Parking Areas

  • CLOSED – Old pitch and putt area of the LSU golf course (along Gourrier Lane)
  • CLOSED – Hayfield Lot
  • CLOSED – Old Front Nine Lot
  • OPEN – Levee Lot – open but limited availability – use caution

Parking Recommendations

  • The following paved lots are available for free general public parking — Lots 402, 403, 406, and 107
  • Use the cross walks at all times when crossing Nicholson Drive
  • The normal baseball shuttle route will be adjusted and pick up in Lots 404 and 406
  • Limited number of parking permits available for sale

Parking is available for sale in the Bullpen and Hall of Fame parking lots. Parking is $5 per game this weekend and can be purchased online at www.LSUtix.net

Fans are asked to arrive early, plan their routes, be patient and drive safe. The access through Burbank Drive to Gourrier Lane may be restricted/limited, so please use caution. Do not drive around barricades – please follow the posted signage and instruction from law enforcement.

Fans are also advised not to park on the shoulders of the road, do not park in soft or soggy areas where the ground is saturated, and do not park in areas where there appears to be standing water.

Please carpool, if possible, because parking spaces will be limited. Listen and watch to media outlets for the latest updates on road closures.
