BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 11:30 p.m. CT Wednesday and at 5 p.m. CT Thursday on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
LSU Tiger Tracks begins with a preview from correspondent Garrett Walvoord of the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, as LSU is scheduled to play its first game on Friday at approximately 2:30 p.m. CT in Nashville, Tenn. The Tigers’ opponent on Friday will be either Tennessee, Auburn or Vanderbilt.
The show continues with an interview with the new “Voice of the Tigers” Chris Blair, who discusses his path to LSU and his first few weeks on the job.
LSU Tiger Tracks also a features a “Day in the Life” profile by Walvoord of gymnast Myia Hambrick, and the show concludes with a report on how researchers at LSU are studying human genomes to provide better targeted treatments for a variety of illnesses.
