BATON ROUGE, La – The ITA announced the 2016 dual season rankings, Tuesday, with LSU earning three top 50 doubles rankings, two top 100 singles rankings and an overall team rank of 30.
Leading the Tigers in singles, LSU’s Jordan Daigle received a No. 22 ranking along with a doubles ranking of 13 with partner Boris Arias.
Justin Butsch earned a ranking of 78 for the dual season after improving 13 spots from the preseason. Butsch and partner Simon Freund also moved into the polls for the dual season at No. 35.
Along with a top 100 singles and doubles ranking, Butsch also earned a No. 47 spot with partner Tam Trinh after going 6-3 as a duo in the preseason.
The Tigers will kick off the New Year January 8 at the FGCU Spring Invitational in Fort Myers, Florida.
