To My LSU Family,
As I get ready to take the field for the final time as a member of the LSU football team tonight against Texas Tech, I want to say how incredibly blessed I have been to be able to represent LSU for four amazing years. I have loved playing for you – the best fans in college football. You are what makes wearing the Purple and Gold and playing for LSU so special.
During these last four years, I have not only grown as a football player, but also as a man. For that I thank my teammates, trainers, teachers, and last but not least my coaches, especially Coach Miles. From the first time that I met Coach Miles by the Tiger statue after football camp when I was 10 years old, I knew that LSU was the place for me.
The memories I have made with my teammates will make us brothers forever and I consider them part of my family now. Games like Ole Miss last year when Tiger Nation poured onto the field to celebrate, to the Texas A&M game this year when we carried Coach Miles off the field after that win over the Aggies, I thank God every day for my time here.
It’s truly been an honor to wear the LSU jersey and I hope that me and my teammates have made you proud. I will always be an LSU Tiger and LSU will always be my home. #ForeverLSU.
Geaux Tigers,
