BATON ROUGE, La.– The LSU men’s tennis program announced the singing of Nikola Samardzic, a blue chip recruit, Wednesday to join Agustin Moreno in the 2016 signing class.
Samardzic will begin the dual season with LSU in January along with Julian Saborio, a Costa Rica native ranked 264th by the ITF junior world rankings.
The Florida native is the 7th best recruit in the country according to tennisrecruiting.net and will be a valuable addition to the LSU roster.
“Nikola is a very proven player,” Head Coach Jeff Brown said. “He’s a top recruit kind of guy and a lot of people we’ve talked to have spoken very highly of him. We are just excited to get working with him and try to help him reach his goals.”
Samardzic and Saborio will be joining newcomers Gabor Csonka and Cameron Andry who have been competing for the Tigers during fall tournament play.
