Tiger Tracks Features Mainieri, Football, Soccer

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television. The show will be replayed at 5 p.m. CT Thursday.

The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.

LSU Tiger Tracks begins with a midseason football review by correspondent Garrett Walvoord of the fourth-ranked Tigers’ 7-0 start. LSU returns to action on Saturday, November 7 at 7 p.m. CT when the Tigers face Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

The show continues with a visit to the studio from baseball coach Paul Mainieri, who discusses the Tigers’ fall practice period and reflects upon his recent flight with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

LSU Tiger Tracks also features a report on the LSU soccer team as it contends for a berth in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers conclude the regular season Thursday night at Kentucky.
