BATON ROUGE – Season tickets to the upcoming 2016 LSU gymnastics campaign are on sale to the general public.
Season tickets are available for purchase online at www.LSUtix.net, by phone at 225-578-2184 or toll free at 1-800-960-8587, or in person by visiting the ticket office on the first floor of the LSU Athletics Administration Building on campus.
A season ticket costs $25 for adults and $15 for youth ages 3-12.
LSU will host five exciting meets in the Maravich Center in 2016 with contests against nationally-ranked Oklahoma, Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn and Alabama.
The Tigers open the regular season with a bang by taking on national-power Oklahoma, the 2014 national co-champions, on Jan. 9 in the Maravich Center.
LSU jumps into Southeastern Conference competition for the final four home meets as the Tigers square off against Kentucky on Jan. 22, Arkansas on Feb. 5, Auburn on Feb. 19 and Alabama on March 4.
Plenty of great seats are available as season tickets, and fans are encouraged to help the Tigers continue to break attendance records in 2016.
In 2015 LSU achieved back-to-back attendance figures of 10,000-plus against Florida and Minnesota in the Maravich Center, and the Tigers posted victories in both meets.
LSU has gone undefeated at home two straight seasons, finishing 11-0 in 2014 and 5-0 in 2015.
The Tigers return nine letterwinners and six All-Americans from the 2015 squad that captured the 14th regional title and advanced to the NCAA Championships for the 26th time in school history.
In addition, LSU welcomes six talented newcomers in 2016 with freshmen Julianna Cannamela, Sarah Finnegan, McKenna Kelley, Lexie Priessman and Kaitlyn Szafranski, along with sophomore transfer Lauren Li.
