BATON ROUGE — The LSU football team moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 on an upset-free weekend among the elite in college football, it was announced Sunday.
LSU (6-0, 4-0 SEC) defeated then-No. 8 Florida, 35-28, on Saturday night. The No. 5-ranked Tigers next face Western Kentucky (6-1, 4-0 CUSA), which received votes in the latest polls.
