BATON ROUGE – Fans will get an opportunity to see LSU Pro Day up close as the SEC Network will be on site to televise the event beginning at noon on Friday at the Charles McClendon Practice Facility.
LSU’s Pro Day, which annually draws 100 NFL personnel, including head coaches, general managers and scouts, starts at 10 a.m. with each participant have their height, weight, and other measurements taken. The players will then be tested in the vertical and broad jumps followed by the 225-pound bench press.
The running events, including the 40-yard dash and various shuttle runs, takes place at noon and that will be followed by individual workouts by position.
Among those former LSU players expected to take part in Pro Day on Friday include: projected first round offensive lineman La’el Collins, linebackers Kwon Alexander and D.J. Welter, running backs Terrence Magee and Kenny Hilliard, fullback Connor Neighbors, defensive end Jermauria Rasco and safety Ronald Martin.
SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy will be on site with reports live from LSU Pro Day with live interviews with LSU head coach Les Miles along with Pro Day participants, while Dari Nowkhah, former LSU All-America Marcus Spears and Kevin Weidl will cover the event in-studio.
