BATON ROUGE – LSU cross country’s head coach Khadevis Robinson has been named the Louisiana Women’s Cross Country Co-Coach of the year after leading the Lady Tigers to two first place finishes at the LSU Invitational and the McNeese Cowboy Stampede and a top-five finish at the Rice Invitational during the 2014 season.
Robinson shares the Louisiana Women’s Cross Country Coach honor with Universtiy of Louisiana-Lafayette’s head coach Lon Badeaux, as he led the Ragin’ Cajuns to their best finish at the Sun Belt Conference Championships finishing fourth overall.
In addition to Robinson’s honor, senior Philip Primeaux and junior Morgan Schuetz were named to the Men’s and Women’s All-Louisiana Team.
Primeaux finished the 2014 season with a first-place finish at the LSU Invitational leading the Tigers to their first win of the season. Primeaux also placed second at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede and seventh at the Rice Invitational.
Schuetz’s first place finish at the LSU Invitational and third-place finish at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede helped her land a spot on the women’s All-Louisiana Team. Schuetz finished her junior season placing 52nd at the SEC Championships and 46th at the 2014 NCAA South Central Regional Championships.
