BATON ROUGE – The LSU doubles team of junior Tam Trinh and sophomore Eric Perez advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships in the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday.
Trinh and Perez won in straight sets over University of North Florida sophomore Jack Findel-Hawkins and senior Norbert Nemcsek by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
“They played a very solid match from start to finish,” assistant coach Danny Bryan said. “We are looking forward to tomorrow.”
The team will continue their tournament run on Friday afternoon in Tulsa.
