AUBURN, Ala. – The LSU Men’s Tennis duo of junior Tam Trinh and sophomore Eric Perez fell in the semifinal match of the ITA Regional Tournament on Sudnay in Auburn, Ala. at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Trinh and Perez came up short against the Auburn team of junior Marko Krickovic and senior Lukas Ollert by a score of 6-2, 6-2.
Freshman Simon Freund was the only other Tiger in singles action on Sunday and he fell in his consolation quarterfinal match against Tulane sophomore and eventual champion Chi-Shan Jao 6-3, 6-4.
The Tigers will now shift their focus to the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station, Texas on Friday.
