TULSA, Okla. — The LSU doubles team of junior Tam Trinh and sophomore Eric Perez were knocked out of the round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships in the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday.
Trinh and Perez were defeated in straight sets by Texas A&M seniors Zach Efferding and Jordan Szabo by a score of 6-4, 6-1.
“We didn’t play our best,” assistant coach Danny Bryan said. “A few times during the first set we got a little momentum, but A&M did a good job of getting the momentum right back.”
The Tigers will be back in action October 16, at the ITA Southern Regional in Auburn, Alabama.
