BATON ROUGE — Applications for the 2014 LSU Bat Girls squad are being accepted now through Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m., when they must be submitted to the LSU Athletics via the online application process.
Applications can be completed online at http://www.lsusports.net/batgirls.
Following a screening of applications, candidates will be asked to participate in an interview on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Final selections will be posted on LSUsports.net on Friday, Nov. 15.
The Bat Girls are a part of the LSU Athletics Marketing and Promotions Department. In addition to working as bat handlers for all LSU home baseball games, members serve as ambassadors for fans at Alex Box Stadium, and are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner both on and off the field.
