BATON ROUGE – The Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday afternoon a slate of 15 league soccer matches to be featured on live television during the 2013 conference season as the Tigers are now set to face the Florida Gators on FOX regional networks when the two teams battle in Gainesville, Fla., on Sunday, Oct. 20, at noon CT.
This marks the second match for the LSU Soccer team that has been picked up for live TV as the Tigers play host to No. 6-ranked BYU on Monday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m., on Cox Sports Television.
The Tigers are now less than two weeks from opening the 2013 regular season as they will host Nicholls State in a preseason exhibition match on Friday at 7 p.m. CT before kicking off the campaign on Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. with a home match against in-state rival Louisiana Tech as part of a four-game season-opening homestand at the LSU Soccer Stadium.
