BATON ROUGE — Monday’s LSU baseball game against Notre Dame has been rained out, it was announced just before 5:45 p.m. CDT.
The Tigers (13-3) and Irish were scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch, however, incessant rain in the Baton Rouge area prevented the final game of a four-game extended weekend at Alex Box Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets for Monday’s game as they may be able to use them for a make-up game with another school later this season.
LSU returns to action on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. against Northwestern State before opening Southeastern Conference play on Friday at 7 p.m. against Mississippi State.
