BATON ROUGE — Undefeated LSU left no doubt in the voters’ minds which team was No. 1, as the national rankings were released on Sunday in advance of the Bowl Championship Series standings.
The winner of the No. 2 spot — the Tigers’ opponent in the Jan. 9 BCS National Championship game — will be announced at 7:15 p.m. CT on ESPN.
