BATON ROUGE — The matchup of the year is set: No. 1 LSU vs. No. 2 Alabama on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa, Ala., as the Southeastern Conference juggernauts held their ground in the BCS Standings, the AP Top 25, the USA Today Coaches’ Poll and the Harris Interactive Poll after open dates.
Both teams are 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the SEC heading into the clash between the top teams from a conference that has claimed the past five BCS National Championships.
