BATON ROUGE – Fans of the LSU track and field program will have the opportunity to see the Tigers and Lady Tigers in action this weekend on the ESPN family of networks as the teams compete at the 2011 SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships being held at Georgia’s Spec Towns Track in Athens.
ESPN3.com will carry live streaming video for much of this weekend’s championship action featuring the events on Saturday from 3-5:30 p.m. CDT and on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. The ESPN3.com schedule is also sure to broadcast the presentation of team awards at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sunday.
ESPNU will also air a two-hour tape-delay broadcast of the SEC Outdoor Championships to a nationwide audience on Wednesday, May 25, from 7-9 p.m. CDT. Not only will fans have the opportunity to see both the Tigers and Lady Tigers in action, but also catch exclusive interviews with athletes and coaches as they compete in the premier conference championship in the country this weekend.
