BATON ROUGE – After serving as a member of the LSU soccer support staff for the past four seasons, head coach Brian Lee has promoted Nathan Minion to the rank of Director of Soccer Operations effective immediately with the start of the 2010 campaign just over one month away.
The three-time defending SEC Western Division champion Tigers are set to kick off the 2010 season with a home match against South Alabama on Sunday, Aug. 22, at the LSU Soccer Complex.
“Nathan has become an integral part of our staff here at LSU during the past four seasons,” Lee said. “I’m excited to expand his role and take full advantage of the many attributes he has to offer our program.”
“Nathan has played a vital role in the daily operations of the LSU soccer program over the past four years here,” said associate head coach Debbie Hensley. “This new role is well-deserved and I know Nathan will continue to do a tremendous job in making LSU one of the premier programs in the NCAA.”
