BATON ROUGE – The LSU Sports Information Office received a best in the nation citation from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the 2009-10 Men’s Basketball Guide.
The best in the nation award is the 16th the LSU Sports Information Office has received since 1991-92 and the eighth in the last three years.

The guide was written and edited by Senior Associate SID Kent Lowe who earned his first “Best in the Nation” award after his 100th anniversary guide in 2008-09 was selected as the fifth best in the nation.
The LSU Publications Office led by Jason Feirman designed the guide with assistance from Krystal Bennett, Courtney Wilburn, Kenli Langois and Courtney Wimmert. Photography for the book was under the direction of Steve Franz and student photographer Chris parent.
Additional support for the guide came from members of the LSU sports information student staff who researched over 25 years of box scores and statistics to update and add several new record categories to the book.
