BATON ROUGE – Coach Trent Johnson announced on Thursday a couple of minor changes in the LSU men’s basketball staff for the 2010-11 season.
Chris Bobel, the team’s Director of Operations for the past two seasons, has elected to return to his home in Palo Alto, Calif., to enter private business. Bobel played and served as video coordinator for Coach Johnson at Stanford before coming to LSU.
Nick Robinson, who last year served as Executive Assistant to the Head Coach, will move into the Director of Operations role for the team. Robinson is a former player at Stanford and served as an assistant coach for The Cardinal with Coach Johnson.
Finally, Brittany Carvalhido has joined the men’s basketball staff as Executive Assistant to the Head Coach. Carvalhido has served the past two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations for the LSU women’s basketball team. She previously was the Director of Operations at Rice in 2007-08 and video coordinator at Tulsa from 2005-07.
As announced earlier last month, Lynn Nance will take the assistant coach position vacated by Keith Richard when he took the head coaching job at Louisiana-Monroe.
