ATHENS, Ga. — LSU swimmers Kannon Betzen and Mary Beck withdrew from the final day of competition at the University of Georgia’s Bulldog Last Chance Meet Sunday.
The LSU men’s and women’s teams will now wait and see which swimmers will receive invitations to their respective NCAA Championship meet. The official psych sheet for the women’s meet will be released Wednesday, March 3, while the men’s psych sheet will be posted on Wednesday, March 10.
The LSU divers will attempt to qualify for the men’s and women’s NCAA Championships at the NCAA Zone ‘D’ Diving Regional in College Station, Texas, beginning March 12.
The women’s NCAA Championships will be held on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., March 18-20. The men’s meet will be in Columbus, Ohio, at Ohio State, March 25-27.
