“Fight For LSU” Lyrics
(Listen and Download)
Like Knights of old, Let’s fight to hold
The glory of the Purple Gold.
Let’s carry through, Let’s die or do
To win the game for dear old LSU.
Keep trying for that high score;
Come on and fight,
We want some more, some more.
Come on you Tigers, Fight! Fight! Fight!
for dear old L-S-U.
RAH!

The 2009 LSU Football Media Guide is 208 pages and features an in-depth look at the Tigers offense, defense and special teams as well as updated bios for the squad and the coaching staff.
This year’s media guide cover features head coach Les Miles along with posed action shots of tight end Richard Dickson, running back Charles Scott, offensive tackle Ciron Black, wide receiver Brandon LaFell, linebacker Perry Riley and defensive end Rahim Alem.
The players took part in a photo shoot in Tiger Stadium during the spring and their poses were inspired by staged action shots from LSU football players in the 1960s and 70s.
In an effort to capture one of the traditions of LSU football, this year’s promotional campaign is “Like Knights of Old”, which represent the first four words of the school’s official fight song ? Fight for LSU. This campaign will be used on items such as the football poster, schedule cards, website advertising, season tickets, as well being used on the new video board in Tiger Stadium.
Other features in this year’s media guide include a detailed look at the state-of-the-art LSU Football Operations Center, a game-by-game recap of the 2008 season as well as an in-depth look at the history of the Tiger football program.
The media guide also includes a 57-page recruiting section, which takes fans inside the LSU football program.
