BATON ROUGE — Beginning with LSU’s game against Ole Miss on Friday night, the parking of cars along Nicholson Drive will be prohibited for safety reasons and due to damage created by vehicles in that area.

The LSU Baseball Fan Guide lists Nicholson Drive as a no-parking area.  Fans have begun to encroach on that area throughout the early weeks of the season, creating safety issues because of its proximity to railroad tracks and a state highway.

Fans are encouraged to park in the Hayfield Lot west of Alex Box Stadium, the Levee Lots on River Road or in Lot D on Skip Bertman Drive across the street from the old Alex Box Stadium.

LSU will enhance services to the Hayfield Lot with additional trash cans, port-o-lets and supplemental lighting for night games.
