Junior first baseman/catcher Sean Ochinko hit .500 (10-for-20) in five games last week with three doubles, four homers, 14 RBI and seven runs scored … Ochinko hit grand slams in consecutive games ? at New Orleans on Tuesday and versus Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday … the grand-slam against MVSU was the game-winning hit, as it erased a 4-3 deficit in the bottom of the eighth inning … Ochinko is hitting .458 (22-for-48) on the year with four doubles, four homers, 23 RBI and 12 runs.

Notes on the Tigers
