First in a series of four advisories pertaining to the New Alex Box Stadium
BATON ROUGE — LSU is opening a new baseball stadium on Friday night and LSU fans are encouraged to be familiar with services and policies pertaining to the new Alex Box Stadium. LSU will play its first game in the new park on Friday when the No. 1-ranked Tigers host Villanova beginning at 7 p.m. Pre-game ceremonies to open the park will start at 6:15 p.m.
The Alex Box Stadium ticket office is located to the third base side of the front of the stadium and will generally open two hours before every game. The ticket office will remain open each game until the bottom of the fifth inning.
There are four entrances to the stadium. Gate 1 is located on the first base side, Gate 2 is directly behind home plate, Gate 3 is located on the third base side and Gate 4 is behind the left field wall.

Tickets will be scanned at gates and all bags are subject to search. All persons above the age of 3 must have a ticket to be admitted to the stadium. Children aged 3 and under are admitted free of charge.
No food or drink may be brought into Alex Box Stadium, and no backpacks, coolers or other containers are allowed. Banners and poles may not be brought into the stadium.
Fans who leave the stadium may return if they get their tickets scanned upon leaving the stadium.
Programs may be purchased on ground level near Gate 2. Birthday announcement requests may be submitted to the Tiger Fan Zone located on the concourse (second level) behind home plate. The Tiger Fan Zone will also be the prize pickup location for lucky number winners.
A first aid station is located on the concourse (second level) behind home plate. Concession stands and restrooms are located throughout the stadium on the first and second levels, and an LSU SportShop store is located on the concourse (second level) of the stadium.
Smoking is not permitted in any area of Alex Box Stadium.
Tickets may not be resold on the grounds of Alex Box Stadium. The grounds of the stadium are defined as all areas on and adjacent to the stadium including all paved parking areas around the stadium.
Still photography cameras are permitted in Alex Box Stadium but video cameras are prohibited. All photos taken in Alex Box Stadium, except for those taken by photographers with media credentials, may not be used for commercial purposes.
The possession or consumption of alcohol in the general seating areas of Alex Box Stadium is expressly prohibited by University policy. Stadium personnel and law enforcement officials will enforce this policy.
