BATON ROUGE — LSU softball coach Yvette Girouard along with third baseman Jessica Mouse and pitcher/outfielder Kirsten Shortridge are scheduled to meet with members of the media Tuesday at noon CST on the fifth floor of the LSU Athletic Administration Building.
Members of the Geaux Zone can watch live video, while a live audio stream of the press conference will be free to the public.
A light lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. prior to Girouard, Mouse and Shortridge taking the podium.
LSU is coming off a 3-2 weekend at the Oceanic Time Warner Cable Paradise Classic in Hawai`i. The Tigers concluded the tournament on a strong note by overcoming a four-run deficit in the seventh inning to defeat Hawai`i, 6-5 in extra innings. The last time LSU achieved that feat was during the 2003 season at Georgia.
The new Tiger Park opens Wednesday against McNeese State. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. and can be heard live on 104.5/104.9 FM in addition to video webcast on a subscription basis in the Geaux Zone on LSUSports.net.
