This week on GameDay Xtra, LSUsports.net’s Amanda Joseph, a former Golden Girl and 2007 Miss Louisiana, attended the first-ever “Evening of Champions” dinner. This event was hosted by The Big Buddy Program and created by Connectors Bayou, a group of University public relations seniors.
“Evening of Champions” featured athletes from every sport who shared a positive message on the importance of good grades and the value of community service. The keynote speaker was Big Buddy Alumnus and former LSU football defensive Ttckle, Anthony Zehyoue. He spoke to the children about never giving up on their dreams and becoming a positive role model.
