The Office of Ronnie Haliburton, Associate Athletic Director
Lawton Room, Tiger Stadium

Former LSU tight end Ronnie Haliburton has supervised facility services in the LSU Athletic Department for the past five years, managing the condition, maintenance and future improvements of the Tigers’ playing surfaces and venues. He is recognized by the LSU coaching staff as a tremendous administrator in a position that is critical to the success of their programs.

Haliburton came to the athletic department in December of 2003 from LSU’s facility maintenance department where he had served as manager since 1998. He first joined LSU in an administrative capacity in 1994 as resident assistant at Broussard Hall. He also worked as a coordinator of residence life and as a student assistant strength coach.

Haliburton played for the LSU football team from 1986-89, and he was a member of two SEC championship teams. He later played for the Denver Broncos of the NFL for three years.

Old Days
Haliburton enjoys collecting vintage photos of the LSU campus, and he discovered this rare image in a Tiger Stadium storage area. The photo depicts LSU in the early 1930s. Tiger Stadium ? prior to the construction of the North End in 1936 ? can be seen on the left side of the image.
