BATON ROUGE — The LSU athletic department is set for its 12th annual Halloween BOOzar, a trick-or-treat evening for children featuring Tiger student-athletes from all sports, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse.
Area families are invited to the Fieldhouse to enjoy a safe evening of Halloween fun with their favorite LSU student-athletes. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes to the event.
Families that attend the BOOzar will have the opportunity to meet student-athletes and coaches from every sport, while participating in interactive games and fun, safe trick-or-treating.
While admission to the BOOzar is free, the event also kicks off the annual CHAMPS Thanksgiving food drive. Families attending the BOOzar are asked to donate canned goods. Barrels from the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will be set up inside the Fieldhouse to handle donations.
