BATON ROUGE — LSU coach Les Miles acknowledged on Tuesday that backup quarterback Andrew Hatch has a leg injury.
“Andrew has a leg injury and we are trying to get him back on the field as soon as possible,” Miles said. “Right now, we are just taking it day by day.”
Hatch, who was injured in LSU’s game against Georgia on Saturday, has played in six games with three starts for the Tigers. He’s thrown for 282 yards and a pair of scores and he’s added another 129 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
LSU returns to action on Saturday when the 15th-ranked Tigers host Tulane at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
