BATON ROUGE — The latest installment of LSU Sports Journal, a program highlighting various aspects of the LSU Athletics Department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. Monday and 8 p.m. Tuesday on Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge and on other affiliates throughout the state.
The current show features LSU softball coach Yvette Girouard, who discusses the Tigers’ Top 10 ranking and the outlook for the 2008 season.
The show also includes an appearance by senior associate athletics director Verge Ausberry, who presents an update on LSU’s plan for future football schedules.
Gymnastics assistant coach Bob Moore joins the show to talk about the early-season accomplishments of the seventh-ranked Tigers.
The show concludes with a feature on the Cox Communications Academic Center, highlighting the impact the center makes upon the careers of LSU student-athletes.
LSU Sports Journal can be seen on the Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area, on affiliates throughout the Acadiana area, and on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a monthly, one-hour production featuring interviews with LSU coaches, athletes and administrators.
