NEW ORLEANS — LSU will have a pep rally here in the Crescent City on Sunday featuring the Golden Band from Tigerland as well as the Golden Girls, the LSU cheerleaders and Mike the Tiger.
The pep rally, which will be held on conjunction with the Allstate BCS Championship Fan Fest, will start at 3:30 p.m. and will take place in the Jax Brewery Parking lot in the French Quarter. Admission to the event is free of charge.
In addition to Sunday’s appearance by the LSU spirit groups, they will also be on hand on Monday at 5 p.m. as they will all participate in the Allstate BCS Championship Game Fan Jam. The Fan Jam will be located on the Gate C Bridge just outside of the Louisiana Superdome.
LSU and Ohio State will meet for the BCS National Championship on Monday at 7:22 p.m. in the Superdome. The game will be televised nationally by FOX.
