BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team had four players ranked in the ITA Southeast Regional rankings released Friday.
Danny Bryan, Colt Gaston and Ken Skupski were listed in singles and doubles rankings, while James Cluskey was ranked with Skupski in doubles.
“I am pleased with our guys rankings,” LSU head coach Jeff Brown said. “These high rankings are recognition for how well our guys performed in the fall.”
Senior Skupski led the Tigers as he was ranked No. 7 in singles. The two-time ITA All-American has 89 singles victories for his career, which places him 12th in school history.
Skupski and doubles partner Cluskey came in at No. 3 in the doubles rankings. The Tiger tandem compiled a 5-2 doubles record in the fall season, including reaching two ITA semifinals.
Bryan and Gaston were also ranked in doubles, coming in at No. 9. Both players were also ranked individually in the singles rankings, with Bryan at No. 21 and Gaston at No. 25.
The Tigers return to action at the SEC Coaches Indoor Championships in January. Skupski has won the tournament the past two seasons.
