KATRINA RELIEF BASKETBALL CLASSIC ? LSU vs. Louisiana Tech ? 2 p.m.
A great way to get into the LSU spirit, join the LSU Lady Tigers at the Katrina Relief Basketball Classic presented by 84 Lumber when they take on Louisiana Tech in the New Orleans Arena. ALLSTATE SUGAR BOWL FAN FEST ? Noon to 5 p.m.
Join the Sugar Bowl fun at this free event at the Riverwalk in downtown New Orleans. There will be interactive games and free give-a-always. The bands and cheerleaders from LSU and Notre Dame will make appearances on January 2. Fans can enter to win the chance to participate in the halftime kick competition on both days.
JANUARY 2
LES MILES RADIO SHOW ? 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Listen Live in the Geaux Zone
The Les Miles Radio Show will originate from Mulate’s Restaurant on Tuesday, January 2, at 7 p.m. Join the crowd in Cajun Party Hall as Coach Miles discusses the Tigers’ preparations for the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl and answers questions from Tiger fans across the country. Mulate’s is located at 201 Julia Street on the corner of Convention Center Boulevard. Admission is free. Doors open at 5 p.m.
JANUARY 3
ALLSTATE SUGAR BOWL FAN JAM ? 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Come out early before the game and enjoy this free event at the Gate C Bridge at the Superdome. This annual event features the band and cheerleaders from both LSU and Notre Dame. There will be a live band, interactive games and free give-a-ways.
